Business Function Analyst

Levy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Functional Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, helping to ensure our systems effectively support and improve our clients' business processes. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and recommend improvements that enhance operations and drive efficiency. Your ability to analyze existing workflows and suggest practical solutions will be key to ensuring successful outcomes.

As a Functional Analyst, you'll play an important role in translating complex business challenges into clear, actionable solutions. You will collaborate with both business and IT teams, assist in testing and validating new systems, and ensure the delivered solutions align with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• You will analyze and document business needs, work with stakeholders to gather and clearly document what the business requires, turning these needs into detailed guidelines for the IT team to follow.

• You will design and implement solutions, work in partner with IT teams to create and roll out practical solutions that solve business problems, ensuring that the systems are aligned with company goals and can grow as needed.

• You will facilitate communication between teams and act as a link between business users and technical teams, making sure everyone is on the same page regarding project goals, timelines, and updates to ensure smooth progress.

• You will test and improve systems and manage testing and validation of new systems or updates to ensure they work as expected, are easy to use, and help improve processes. You'll also keep an eye on the systems to make sure they continue to perform well.

• You will provide training, support and lead training sessions to help users understand new systems and processes, and offer ongoing support to solve any issues. You'll also assist during system updates or new rollouts to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Profile Requirements:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, and bring minimum 4-5 years of experience in a Functional Analyst or equivalent position.

• You are fluent in English, French, and/or Dutch, You have also some experience with project management tools and business process improvement methodologies, allowing you to support projects from start to finish while adhering to timelines and goals.

• You possess advanced skills in process modelling and data analysis tools such as BPMN, UML, and SQL, allowing you to translate business requirements into precise functional specifications and process workflows.

• You have experience with business process improvement methods such as Agile, and are familiar with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). You also have strong technical knowledge of systems like ERP and CRM, as well as project management tools like JIRA, Confluence and/or MS Project.

• You are highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, using your skills in documentation, reporting, and time management to ensure successful project delivery in fast-paced environments.
