Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is looking for a permanent position in the central organizational unit IT-DuA at the earliest possible date.

Team leader in the area of web services (100 %)

Your tasks:

• Head of the "Web services" team
• Ensuring smooth processes in the team by coordinating, structuring and organizing workflows, developing efficient work processes and quality management as well as updating a manual and training courses for editors
• Analysis of new requirements with the following tasks:
  • Creation of requirements analyses, concepts and cost estimates for functional enhancements as well as implementation planning
  • Development of future websites, support for h_da-supported and developed extensions
  • Conceptual development, planning and adaptation of the TYPO3 presence of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and administrative support of all associated servers
  • Researching functional requirements for the internet and intranet and implementing the new findings in close cooperation with requesters
• Advice and support for editors from administration and specialist departments, including training courses
• Management of external service providers including the creation of specifications
• Coordination of the university network in the TYPO3 environment (T3AC) as part of the TYPO3 Academic Committee, as well as participation in conferences

Your profile:

• Completed studies (Diploma FH or Bachelor)
• at least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable field of work in web development/administration
• Management experience is an advantage
• Very good TYPO3 knowledge
• Very good PHP and TYPO script knowledge
• Very good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Sass and CSS
• Good SQL knowledge (MySQL)
• Good knowledge of the administration of an Apache server under Linux
• Good knowledge of web page analysis software (e.g. Matomo)
• Good knowledge of search engines such as Solr
• Very good written and spoken German (C1 level)
  
• High level of social competence
• Ability to work in a team
• High motivation, initiative, commitment
• Very good organizational and communication skills
• Distinct customer and service-oriented behavior
• Gender and diversity competence are a prerequisite

We offer:

Remuneration is based on pay group 12 of the collective agreement for employees of the state of Hesse (TV-H).
