To strengthen our team in the area of R&D Packaging at the Trier plant, we are looking for a Print Implementation Manager (m/f/d) in permanent employment.
Your job mission:Become a key player in our team as a Print Implementation Manager, where your creativity and expertise will bring our packaging visions to life. We are passionate about developing and implementing consumer-centric, high-quality printed materials for the full JTI portfolio that exceed expectations, making a lasting impact on our brand and our customers.
Your tasks:- Responsible for project realization for all printed materials from tipping to shipping case from the project outset, covering the advisor / expert role in discussions with all internal and external partners (Marketing & Sales, R&D Packaging, other JTI functions and external suppliers) .
- Monitor and control usage of only qualified materials for JTI products. On-site supervision of respective suppliers to ensure JTI quality standards. Coordinate qualification process with suppliers, NTM team, SRA and GSC for material tests
- Preparation and maintenance of One Time Cost estimates for cross-regional / local packaging development initiatives. Request and check respective OTC quotations
- Make sure that all internal systems will be used as required (CAPA, TPA, PLM) and support in developing new processes and systems as needed. Initiate and complete projects targeting process improvements and business efficiency enhancement in alignment with other P&DI partners as well as the wider Packaging community
- Relevant educational background: University or technical degree in packaging technology
- Practical experience: Packaging experience within the FMCG industry (preferably cigarette packaging)
- Valuable knowledge: Excellent knowledge of prepress as well as the main printing and converting technologies / excellent technical skills in printing and converting of packaging materials, cigarette manufacturing experience preferred / strong packaging material knowledge and quality assurance experience
- Special strengths: Comprehensive project management experience: planning to realization / Global and corss-functional experience preferred
- Suitable personality: Flexible and willing to travel
- Language and systems: Excellent English knowledge both written and spoken. Additional foreign language knowledge is advantageous, preferably German / computer literacy, especially MS Office and PLM Systems. Adobe Acrobat / Illustrator knowledge is considered an asset
