Job Title: Survey Engineer / Senior Survey Engineer
Location: Offshore with local and international travel required
Salary: £48.877.40 - £78,154.86 DOE
Job Purpose:
As a Survey Engineer/Senior Survey Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that all engineering activities conducted on site meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and contractual compliance. You'll be responsible for configuring equipment, maintaining calibration and certification, and ensuring seamless operations both offshore and onshore.

Responsibilities:
Interpret sensor pinout/wiring diagrams and interface equipment and sensors into survey vehicles
Establish a dedicated survey network and interface survey sensors online
Utilize various data protocols including serial protocols, ethernet comms, and fibre optic
Set up video distribution systems on board vessels
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with logical problem-solving skills
Perform cabling tasks for interfacing, antenna, network, serial, video, and ROV/survey sensors
Create vessel wiring diagrams and setup notes using relevant software
Maintain, service, and calibrate equipment used in offshore survey operations
Ensure inventories, manifests, and equipment certifications are up to date
Operate software and conduct personnel performance reviews/appraisals for direct reports
Key Skills/Attributes & Experience:
Education in Electronics/Engineering
Relevant industry experience or equivalent military/academic background in survey-related discipline
Completion of Senior Engineer Competencies or equivalent qualifications for Survey Engineer Grade I
Minimum of 24 months' experience, including 200 operational days offshore as Survey Engineer Grade I
