Your new role
As a Management Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for analysing financial information, preparing management reports, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Your key duties will include:

  • Analysing Monthly Management Accounts
  • Preparing the Monthly Management Accounts Pack
  • Assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system
  • Assisting with budget preparation
  • Conducting performance analysis for all contracts to identify trends and variances
  • Processing applications and certificates for construction projects
  • Maintaining key performance indicators
  • Preparing financial reports and analysis for the management team and other teams within the business
  • Leading and supporting the finance team
  • Meeting deadlines and providing accurate financial information as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A qualification as an Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Experience in implementing an ERP system (desirable)
  • Experience in the construction industry (desirable)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • A good team ethos and the ability to demonstrate it
