Are you looking for a long-term position working as a Automotive Production Operative on night shift with a view on earning an excellent rate of up to 15.90 per hour, with plenty of opportunities to work overtime? We are recruiting for an Automotive Production Operative to join a key automotive supplier, conveniently located in the heart of Birmingham.

Temp-to-perm opportunity for an Automotive Production Operative - Night Shift

Rate of Pay 15.90 per hour

Hours of work:
Night Shifts - 2100 to 0600 Monday to Thursday

This is a renowned manufacturer of car parts and engine solutions, building frames for several major automotive brands. They are a progressive, fast-paced factory, offering the possibility of fixed term contracts once workers have successfully proven themselves. All applicants for this role MUST hold experience as a Production Operative in a previous role.

• Ability to use a range of hand tools (e.g., power drills, glue guns) and industrial equipment (e.g., pop rivet guns)
• Experienced with running machinery (e.g., press machines, drilling machines, CNC)
• Ability to carry out the tasks expected of a Production Operative whilst meeting strict build targets)
• The company are looking to offer long-term positions within a dynamic, enviable automotive environment, with excellent amenities including a canteen and free public parking facilities.

It is vital that all applicants come from a factory environment, being able to work to strict targets and work well as part of a team. Previous experience of Production Assembler or quality inspection would be ideal and may prove highly advantageous.

• Key skills for the Production Operative role must include:
• Highly motivated and proactive
• Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Flexibility with working hours, in the event of deadlines being pushed forward on orders.
• Capable of picking up training quickly and efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with working from basic technical drawings & having a keen eye for detail.
