Full time 37.5 hours per week

We re looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at The New Private Hospital.
This Purpose built Facility with both patients and colleagues in mind. The Harborne Hospital is a 50 bed, multi-speciality, private hospital which combines deep clinical infrastructure with the exceptional technology and modern facilities
Our wide range of expertise allows us to deliver full clinical pathways at all levels of complexity across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery.

As a Senior Staff Nurse on our ICU, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the department. We ll look to you as an expert in your field to support and mentor the wider team, using your in-depth clinical knowledge to guide and support them while also stepping up and leading the unit the absence of the Ward Manager. It s a varied role, one day you could be providing bespoke, complex care to a patient, the next overseeing the operation of the six bedded unit.

Qualifications/Skills/Attributes:

• Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
• Recognise post-graduate Critical Care Course (30 credits minimum)
• Cardiac and General ICU experience
• ALS/ILS training
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
