Job description
QUALITY TECHNOLOGIST PERMANENT 32,000 - 37,000
As Quality Technologist at our cutting-edge bottling facility, you will play a pivotal role in managing our Quality Management Systems (QMS) and overseeing bulk wine supply operations. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will ensure that all processes meet the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our operations while upholding industry-leading standards.
The Key Requirements
- Ideally educated to degree level in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Qualification in internal auditing and/or proven experience in conducting audits.
- Strong understanding of HACCP principles and practical application in food safety management.
- Solid knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) with the ability to interpret GFSI standards and customer-specific codes of practice.
- WSET Level 2 qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Self-driven, with a passion for continuous learning and process improvement.
- Previous experience in a technical role within the food or beverage manufacturing industry
