Residential Case Handler / Paralegal
30,000 - 35,000
Initially 5 days onsite with options to move hybrid once settled.

Cooper Lomaz are currently supporting a growing new team with a reputable and established legal firm dedicated to providing comprehensive legal services in conveyancing and property law with a site in Milton Keynes.

We are recruiting for two Residential Case Handler to join our clients growing team working on various cases with full support given to new starters. To be successful in this role you must have commercial experience running caseloads, strong administrative skills, experience of using a case management system. In this role you will manage a case load of sale and purchase conveyancing transactions from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling a varied caseload of conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages.
Conducting thorough searches and due diligence on properties.
Preparing and reviewing legal documents, such as contracts, transfers of title, and mortgage deeds.
Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other professionals involved in the conveyancing process.
Managing deadlines and ensuring transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.
Working as part of a team where you will be supported but will also support others in their absence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in a conveyancing / case handler / paralegal role.
Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Proficiency in using conveyancing software and legal databases.
