Job description

FPGA Design Engineer with solid experience using Xilinx Vivado, will join a rapidly growing Technology Company, specialists in the manufacture of test equipment for the Aerospace Industry.

Fully remote working, flexible salaries dependent upon experience, with applications welcome from those with a PhD incorporating FPGA Design or with 2-3+ years commercial experience. Sorry, no Sponsorship available.

Under new management, this exciting company seeks a self-starting Degree qualified FPGA Design Engineer who has strong customer focus and is able to bring most of the following skills and knowledge:

• Solid experience with Xilinx Vivado.
• VHDL 2019 standard.
• Test driven design using FPGA simulation.
• Intra device protocols such as 12C or SPI.
• Networking protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP or UDP/IP.
• Interfacing with microprocessor hardware or firmware.
• Working within an Agile environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers and produce detailed documentation.

In this FPGA Design role, successful applicants will support the company s previous generation of products based in the field as well as developing new products based on a modern large FPGA.
