As we enter a phase of rapid growth, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Dispensary Manager with a proven track record of building and developing teams to join our dynamic team.

The Role:

As Pharmacy Dispensary Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining accuracy and operational efficiency. With all patient communication handled by our customer care team, the dispensary team can focus on delivering top-tier performance, ensuring patients receive their medication on time and in full. Working closely with our in-house engineering team and clinical team, you will strive for operational perfection. The ideal candidate will have a passion for achieving the best patient outcomes through operational excellence, possess strong leadership skills, and have extensive experience in managing successful pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the dispensary team alongside the Dispensary Team Lead
Team growth: Work closely with HR and leadership to expand the dispensary team from 10 to 20 members within the next 6-12 months, ensuring seamless integration of new hires while maintaining high performance and operational efficiency.
Conduct probationary and performance reviews in line with company guidelines.
Ensure training for new dispensary team members is carried out in line with individual training plans.
Monitor and achieve operational KPIs such as On Time in Full (OTIF) service levels, Cost to Fill efficiency, patient safety, inventory loss, and margin performance.
Lead the development and implementation of protocols and procedures for all dispensary roles, in coordination with the Clinical Leads.
Lead by example: Actively work alongside the team on the dispensary floor, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high output levels, and taking a hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in managing and developing operational teams.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
NVQ2 Pharmacy qualification (NVQ3 level Pharmacy Technician preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or related fields.
Experience with continuous improvement practices (e.g., Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) is a big plus.

Salary:
35K to 45K per year, based on qualification and experience
