Could you be a Scheduling Manager for Momentum Instore? Who are we looking for?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Manager to join our friendly team based at our Head Office in Tytherington, Macclesfield on a Fixed-Term basis. The role is suitable for office or hybrid working with time spent working from home in addition to attending the office.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and relish the opportunity to deliver outstanding results, managing different priorities to deliver a great outcome. You can communicate confidently at all levels, and demonstrate high attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Key skills for this role include:
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot tables, v/x lookup, formulas etc.
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK, including post code areas
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills to secure resources within allocated budget
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly and efficiently to short notice change requests
- Ability to multi-task to keep the project plan flowing
- Responsibility and autonomy to work unsupervised at pace
- Positive attitude, able to demonstrate resilience in a fast-paced environment
What does my new role look like?
Working within our Scheduling Team, you will play a pivotal in ensuring our client s projects are set up for success. You will do this by:
Ensuring all allocated projects are effectively scheduled with appropriately skilled people to meet/exceed the client s requirements. You will do this by:
- Working with the team to provide weekly schedules, arranging re-visits and training plans
- Ensuring all people deployed onto projects are done so in the most cost-effective way to retain profit and achieve target margins as set by the business
- Supporting with the confirmation of resources and vehicles as required
- Creating logical and cost-effective journey plans across the UK
- Communicating effectively with field personnel and retailers in order to confirm visit dates
- Acting as the main day to day contact for the resourcing of all projects assigned to you, working with the Project and Field Management teams to deliver on time
- Ensuring our systems and all related project information are maintained with accurate data
- Effectively communicating with colleagues in the Retail Operations team to keep projects on track from a delivery and cost perspective.
