Y Rôl

Fel Goruchwyliwr Canolfan Wybodaeth, byddwch yn rheoli gweithrediadau ein Canolfan Groeso o ddydd i ddydd yn Y Stablau, Betws y Coed.

Gan roi cyngor a chymorth i r cyhoedd am Eryri, Cymru a r ardaloedd cyfagos, byddwch yn hyrwyddo mwynhad cyfrifol o gefn gwlad tra n cynyddu ymwybyddiaeth y cyhoedd o rinweddau arbennig y Parc Cenedlaethol.

Byddwch hefyd yn cefnogi r Rheolwr Twristiaeth Gynaliadwy i ddatblygu r Ganolfan fel canolbwynt ar gyfer darganfod, hyrwyddo busnesau lleol a chynyddu gweithgareddau masnachol.

Yn ogystal, byddwch yn:

- Delio ag ymholiadau gan ymwelwyr, gan gynnig arweiniad ar atyniadau, cyfleusterau a digwyddiadau lleol
- Cynorthwyo i gynnal presenoldeb cyfryngau cymdeithasol y Ganolfan
- Rheoli rheolaeth stoc, ffurflenni wythnosol a phrosesau bancio
- Arwain tîm y Ganolfan, gan greu rotâu staff a chynnal gwerthusiadau blynyddol
- Sicrhau cydymffurfiaeth iechyd a diogelwch o fewn y Ganolfan
- Cefnogi trefnu digwyddiadau lleol a gweithio gyda thenantiaid yn Y Stablau

Snowdonia National Park Authority is looking for an Information Centre Supervisor to join them in Betws y Coed, earning up to £12.82 per hour.

About Us

Snowdonia National Park Authority protects the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of Eryri National Park. Covering 823 miles of diverse landscape, the Park is home to over 26,000 people, the highest mountain in Wales and the largest natural lake in Wales.

We are now looking for an Information Centre Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 4 to 5 days per week on a monthly rota basis.

The Role

As an Information Centre Supervisor, you will manage the day-to-day operations of our Information Centre at Y Stablau, Betws y Coed.

Providing advice and assistance to the public about Snowdonia, Wales and the surrounding areas, you will promote the responsible enjoyment of the countryside while enhancing public awareness of the National Park s special qualities.

You will also support the Sustainable Tourism Manager in developing the Centre as a hub for discovery, promoting local businesses and increasing commercial activities.

Additionally, you will:

- Handle inquiries from visitors, offering guidance on local attractions, facilities and events
- Assist with maintaining the Centre s social media presence
- Manage stock control, weekly returns and banking processes
- Lead the Centre s team, creating staff rotas and conducting annual appraisals
- Ensure health and safety compliance within the Centre
- Support the organisation of local events and work with tenants at Y Stablau

About You

To be considered as an Information Centre Supervisor, you will need:

- The ability to speak Welsh and English fluently
- Local knowledge and an enthusiasm for the qualities of the National Park and the area
- Good knowledge of Welsh geography and attractions
- The willingness to work weekends and bank holidays
