Job Title: Band 8a or 8b Clinical Psychologist Adult Learning Disability Team

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and innovative Clinical Psychologist to work with the Adult Learning Disability Team in Barrow-in-Furness, South Cumbria.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and intervention to adults with learning disabilities across various settings.

• The role includes offering consultation, training, and supervision to the wider multi-disciplinary team (MDT) on the psychological care of adults with learning disabilities.

• Opportunities may be available to engage in service-related research and development, contributing to the ongoing improvement of psychological services within the team.

• You will receive regular clinical and professional supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and benefit from being part of the Learning Disability Psychology Specialty and the wider Psychological Professions Community within the Trust.

• The role also offers strong links with North West clinical psychology training courses in Lancaster, Manchester, and Liverpool.

Position Details:

• Location: Barrow-in-Furness, South Cumbria
• Work Pattern: 4 days per week (30 hours)
• Umbrella Rate: £56.67 per hour
• Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

Requirements:

• Qualified Clinical Psychologist (HCPC registered)
• Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities
