This charming venue offers guests the perfect base for exploring the region, with a blend of fantastic food, quirky accommodations, and a true taste of Cumbria. The recent restoration has revitalized this historic inn while preserving its unique character and heritage.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at this iconic venue. As a Chef de Partie, you ll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the success of a well-loved establishment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare all food items as directed, ensuring they are cooked to perfection and presented beautifully.
  • Section Management: Take full responsibility for your section during service, ensuring efficiency, attention to detail, and high standards.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and dating of all food stock in line with company policy.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your colleagues to deliver exceptional food service, maintaining clear communication and a positive team environment.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Keep your workstation clean and organized, assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen equipment, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Recipe Adherence: Follow recipes and presentation specifications to maintain consistency and quality.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a passion for fresh food and high standards.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time-keeping, and organizational skills.

Age-Related Pay Rates for Under 21s:
  • 18-20 Years Old: £9.00 per hour
