Architectural Designer
Location: Warrington
Rate: Inside IR 35 - 40- 50 per hour

We are the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield Ltd under the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) initiative-a pioneering 20-year collaboration designed to deliver 7 billion worth of major projects, site-wide improvements, and supporting services. Our mission is to create a clean and safe environment for future generations by delivering nationally significant infrastructure projects to the Sellafield site as quickly and safely as possible.
The Role:
Due to our expanding portfolio of projects, we are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team in Warrington. This is a unique opportunity to drive change and foster creativity in engineering, safety, and delivery solutions at one of the most complex industrial sites in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the architectural 3D Revit model.
  • Attend regular model reviews and space management meetings, representing the architectural discipline and presenting your model.
  • Collaborate with Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CS&A) Engineers, Architects, and designers from other disciplines to coordinate the development of the model.
  • Produce 2D AutoCAD general arrangement (GA) and detailed drawings derived from the model throughout Preliminary and Detailed Design phases.
  • Work on specifications in conjunction with CS&A Engineers and Architects.
  • Fulfill the Designer role under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).

Requirements:

  • HND or degree in Architectural Technology.
  • Proficiency in Revit for 3D modeling and AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
  • Experience in layout development, architectural detailing, and specifying components such as cladding, roofing, finishes, partitions, stairs, and modular builds.
  • Working knowledge of CDM regulations.
