Job description

Exciting opportunity for a part qualified Management Accountant or Qualified by Experience Managment Acountant to join a friendly team. Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts the successful candidate will look after the management accounting for a number of cost centres for this growing business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsibility for the timely production and consolidation of monthly management accounts for a number of cost centres (including accruals & prepayments and variance analysis)
• KPI reporting
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Identification and implementation of better financial processes and controls
• Assist with the audit process and deal with auditor queries
• Provide any ad-hoc analysis or reporting as required

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Part Qualified accountant
• Experience of preparing management accounts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to build strong relationships with non-finance people such as Business Unit Managers
