Job description

Qualified History teacher to join a fantastic school in the heart of Exeter.

Your new company

At Hays Education Exeter, we aim to recruit and match teachers to their ideal role. We work in partnership with a number of schools across Devon, helping them with their recruitment needs. This includes day-to-day supply, long-term, and permanent roles. As a supply teacher with Hays, we provide you with all the necessary information and support to ensure you are comfortable with the role you are in, with regular check-ins from experienced educational consultants. Become a lifelong partner with Hays, and we will help you achieve your career goals.

Your new role
We are currently recruiting for a qualified secondary History Teacher to join a school in Exeter on a long-term basis. The school would consider either a part-time or full-time work pattern and are happy to offer a trial week to see if the applicant is comfortable in the role. In addition, the applicant would only need to give one week's notice should their circumstances change, and you are able to book days off when necessary, offering you a healthy work-life balance. The majority of the planning is done, so you can focus on the teaching itself. This role is suitable for NQTs/ECTs and qualified teachers with experience of teaching history within a secondary setting who value innovation and creativity. In addition, the school offers continued professional development for those seeking growth opportunities. You will be supported throughout this role and given the opportunity for further employment at the end of the contract if necessary.
