Head of Property Management
Location: Plymouth
Salary: 50,000 - 65,000 + Perks, Company Car, Bonus
Reports to: Managing Director

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Property Management to lead and expand a dynamic team, overseeing the growth and management of a diverse property portfolio. This senior role offers a strategic leadership position with a Board-level responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in property management and demonstrate strong leadership, financial acumen, and business development skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy: Develop and implement strategic plans for property management, lead and mentor the team, and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the property portfolio, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and nurture strong relationships with clients, tenants, and stakeholders.
  • Financial Management: Manage the budget, including rent collection, arrears management, and service charge administration.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prepare proposals for key clients, and represent the company at industry events.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive operational improvements and ensure accurate reporting of property management activities.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure properties comply with relevant laws and regulations and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Client Relations: Act as the primary contact for key clients, address issues promptly, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in property management with a strong leadership background.
  • Financially astute, with a clear understanding of budgets, performance analysis, and service charge administration.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to build strong client relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of property legislation and best practices.
  • A proactive approach to business development and portfolio management.
