Location: Three Legged Cross

Salary: £25K-£30K plus commission

Hours: 8.30am-5.00pm Mon-Fri, office based

Benefits: 23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years, free parking, pension.

Aspire Jobs are working with our well established, growing telecoms and IT solutions client who are now looking to recruit a professional, articulate and highly driven Sales Executive to join their growing team. Training will be provided for the successful candidate.

This Sales Executive role will suit someone who is hungry to succeed, is tenacious and has excellent communication skills. You will be confident making outbound calls and seeking out new business opportunities to develop and grow for the long term. If you have proven experience within a similar Sales Executive role or have a background within telesales, cold calling or new business development, then this could be the role for you! You need to be able to develop rapport with customers quickly and be able to give tangible examples of your success. This is a great role for someone who has an interest in IT/Telecoms and who wants to progress into a more progressive sales role, therefore it would suit someone who has been working in a call centre (as an example).

To be successful in the role you will:

  • Have proven experience within a similar Sales Executive, New Business Development, Telesales or Cold Calling role
  • Be comfortable with cold calling and making outbound calls
  • Have excellent communication skills and be a confident communicator over the phone
  • Have excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Have hands-on experience with CRM systems ideally
  • Be able to drive and have your own transport
  • Be self-motivated
  • Be hungry to succeed and results driven
  • Have good negotiating skills
  • Have a passion or interest in IT or telecoms and technology

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
