Workshop Electrician - Permanent Position (UK-Based Applicants Only)

Are you a skilled Electrician or Electrical Supervisor with experience in marine or industrial installations? Join our client - a leading engineering firm known for delivering high-quality solutions across the marine, renewable, and offshore energy sectors. We are looking for qualified professionals who are ready to bring expertise and leadership to our expanding team.

About the Role

As an Electrician, you'll play a critical role in overseeing electrical projects both in the workshop and on client sites. Key responsibilities include:

- Supervising all personnel on-site and ensuring safe working practices in compliance with Health & Safety policies.

- Conducting final testing of equipment, updating basic drawings in AutoCAD and EPlan, ordering materials, and assisting with site surveys and project cost estimates.

- Producing job-specific Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), site permits, and conducting POWRA checks.

- Maintaining high housekeeping standards, ensuring PPE is properly used, and verifying timesheets.

- Serving as a company ambassador, maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients.

What You'll Need to Succeed

- Proven experience in a supervisory role; prior marine electrical experience is advantageous but not essential.

- Strong skills in interpreting electrical schematic drawings.

- Ability to work flexibly and independently.

- Energetic and motivated, with a focus on building strong client relationships.

- Full UK driving license required.

- This role is open to UK-based applicants only, and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

- Minimum: Completed apprenticeship with City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
