An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Organisation Development Consultant to play a crucial role in enhancing organisational effectiveness and supporting strategic initiatives. This position focuses on optimising both the structural (processes, policies, metrics) and cultural (values, behaviours, relationships) aspects of the organisation to drive individual, team, and overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate organisation development strategies that improve performance and effectiveness, applying a comprehensive consultancy model.
  • Facilitate complex conversations, effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with Organisation Design Consultants to align structures and processes with cultural values, enhancing the employee experience.
  • Build organisational capability by advising leaders on challenges and delivering tailored solutions that support the organisation's development strategy.
  • Create and implement behavioural interventions, leadership development programs, and cultural change initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Conduct diagnostics to assess organisational needs, utilising data and insights to develop customised solutions.
  • Partner with teams to integrate OD practices into various agendas, including talent development and employee experience.
  • Measure the impact of OD initiatives, using key performance indicators to inform continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry standards and engage in ongoing professional development to align with CIPD standards.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Organisational Development, Human Resources, or Psychology, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional membership with CIPD at Chartered level or actively pursuing this.
  • Proven experience in managing complex cultural and behavioural challenges using a consultancy approach.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary organisation development theories and practical application in complex environments.
  • Experience in planning, designing, and evaluating OD and change interventions within large organisations.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to convey messages effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong business acumen, linking initiatives to strategic business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with current business technologies.
