Job Title: Administration Manager

Salary: £27,914 per annum + £750 Home Working Allowance per annum + £4082 London Weighting per annum (if eligible)

Hours & Contract: 35 Hours per week - Permanent Contract

Location: Homebased East, North East or North London, or the borders of Essex or Hertfordshire with a requirement to travel for in person meetings at least once a month

The TACT London & The East Administration Manager will be an integral member of the Management Team with operational responsibility for three highly dedicated and experienced administrative staff. Joining the team now will mean you will be integral to reviewing existing systems and processes and ensuring administrative tasks consistently facilitate activities for social work colleagues, carers, children and young people.

The Administration Manager will be experienced in leading a small team who work digitally using the Microsoft Office Suite while being fully home based. The Administration team undertake a wide range of admin tasks including crucial compliance processes, timely statutory reporting, regular minute taking, event organising, fostering panel administration, team wellbeing activities, and coordination of essential communications and much more.

Working closely with the Area and Deputy Area Managers, and in accordance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements, the Administration Manager will role model Our Values with a collaborative approach, and curiosity, to aid innovation while coordinating all admin activities including cover for and gaps and absences. The ideal candidate will receive expert management support, wrap-around wellbeing services, and in-house management training and development opportunities. The Administration Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve services and contribute to the continuous development of a high functioning admin team that is essential for the growth of our smooth running social work and carer services across the TACT London & The East Area.

Overall Duties of the xxx will include:

  • Management, supervision and development of small team of admin staff
  • Participating in operational planning and management to ensure smooth running of all admin functions
  • Responsibility for processes and systems for contributing to financial planning, budgeting and reporting
  • Ensuring the administrative support for the foster care panel is efficiently and effectively provided
  • Responsibility for establishing and maintaining systems and processes to support statutory reporting and compliance
  • Coordination of all admin functions including event organising, minuting meetings, and other essential admin tasks as necessary for the smooth running of social work and carers services

The Administration Manager will be homebased in North, North East or West London, or the borders of Essex or Hertfordshire and will be required to travel to face-to-face meetings at least once a month and on other occasions for in person team meetings, training and team wellbeing events.

A Standard DBS clearance is required for this role and will be processed by TACT on your behalf.
