Finance Director Job - ACCA/CIMA qualified - Essex - Hybrid

The Finance Director is accountable for the day-to-day operational control of the region, providing leadership and management in financial activities and key operational areas.
Duties:
- Preparation of management meetings; providing analysis on accounts, budgeting and forecasting; profit and loss analysis
- Developing key performance indicators and measures with a focus on continuous improvement and transparency for business decision-making
- Support the CFO and senior managers in robust financial planning and budgeting
- Perform the month end management accounts including bookkeeping, cash reconciliations and supplier recs
- Responsible for all cash-flow, reconciliations, VAT, Tax and invoice activity
- Providing timely and accurate finance and operational reporting and analysis to C-Level Management and the Board
- Lead the development and maintenance of financial control systems, policies and procedures and ensure effective compliance mechanisms are in place across EMEA and local financial transactions and reporting

Additional responsibilities:

- To be responsible for your own behaviour and acting in a manner that avoids and discourages any form of discrimination or harassment
- To assist with covering the responsibilities of other members of the team in their absence
- To cover all Line Management responsibilities as advised and communicated by the HR Team. Developing members of your team through successful induction, training and mentorship
