Job description

This role will be in based in a friendly, supportive team at a Local Authority in Essex. The role will involve working in the Children Services Department where the focus is to provide frontline support to children and families in the local area. You will be working in a small team of 4 and will need a calm, professional and empathetic sytle of communication. The role will involve taking calls and gathering basic information, recognising where immediate intervention may be required and passing on this information to the wider team.

You will also be required to monitor the team emails and respond to requests for information from a variety of sources. Please note you will need to have an enhanced DBS for this post. Similar previous experience is required for this post, as is the ability to work in a fast paced and reactive department. There are permanent opportunites for the right candidate.
