MFL Academic Mentor Havering Start ASAP

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated MFL Academic Mentor to support students at a modern secondary and sixth form in Havering. Rated Good by Ofsted, this school places a strong emphasis on behaviour management and offers targeted support for students in 1:1 and small group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide focused 1:1 and small group support as an MFL Academic Mentor
• Support students both inside and outside of class with an emphasis on attainment and progression
• Work closely with teaching staff to ensure effective learning in MFL subjects
• Encourage a positive learning environment, helping students with SEND achieve their goals

Requirements:

• MFL Academic Mentor with a 1:1 degree in a Modern Foreign Language from a top UK university
• A/A in MFL at A Level, and a solid grasp of MFL GCSE and A Level curriculums
• Experience in a child-based role, with a confident approach to behaviour management and a passion for supporting students with SEND
