MFL Teacher - Spanish & French Location: Bristol Start Date: January 2025 Salary: Paid to scale Are you a passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher with a flair for teaching Spanish and French? Are you passionate about lanaguages and inspiring young minds? Do you want the opportunity to shape the futures of the children you teach? We re excited to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded secondary school in Stroud, looking for an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join their dedicated team and inspire a new generation of linguists. As the MFL Teacher, you ll be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop confidence and proficiency in Spanish and French. You ll foster a love for languages and global cultures, creating a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment. Located in the picturesque town of Stroud, this school prides itself on its inclusive and student-centered approach. You ll join a supportive team dedicated to providing high-quality language education and helping students appreciate the cultural richness of language learning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Spanish and French lessons to students of varying abilities
  • Develop innovative lesson plans that encourage active learning and language retention
  • Promote cultural awareness and appreciation through engaging and immersive content
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school s MFL curriculum goals
  • Lead or assist with extracurricular language clubs, exchanges, and cultural activities

What We re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications in MFL
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and French, with a passion for teaching both languages
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
  • A positive, energetic approach to language teaching that encourages student engagement
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
