Job description
As a Cyber Software Engineer, you will form part of a team that research, design and build critical systems that protect and support our National Security partner's missions. You will employ secure coding practices to ensure and maintain quality of software delivery; whilst understanding and integrating with operating systems on a low level.

As a Cyber Software Engineer, it's likely you'll be naturally curious and have exposure to and expertise in operating systems, networking and network protocols and low-level systems development.
The Key Requirements
- Experienced in one or more of C, C++ or C#.
- Familiar with Python.
- Used to Linux or Windows based operating systems.
- Knowledge of version control and used to working in agile environments.
- An understanding of the Cyber domain.
- Understanding of common software design and testing patterns.
- Able to build systems and perform continuous integration.

Where you'll work
You'll find our Gloucester site in a business park two minutes from junction 11A of the M5; The site allows easy access to our local customer base. Set on the outskirts of the Cotswolds, you are never far from a picturesque view or lunch time walk.
