DE&S are looking for talented, motivated, and ambitious university graduates to join our two-year Finance graduate development programme and become our Finance professionals of the future.

You'll rotate through several placements focused around Finance roles across different areas of DE&S that will give you the opportunity to learn about different aspects of Finance. You'll gain real experience in:

• forecasting the future budget
• reviewing and creating accruals
• providing financial analysis to support decision making
• nvolvement in developing costings for business cases
• tracking costs to contracts and ensuring they are recorded correctly
• using financial systems

Your hands-on experience will be underpinned by MOD and DE&S specific training as well as study towards the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting. There's a requirement for candidates interested in the Finance Scheme to have a strong interest and ability in working with numbers.

On successful completion of your two-year programme, you may be offered a permanent position with DE&S, that reflects the interests and skills you've developed throughout the programme.

Entry requirements:

• GCSE Maths and English Language at a minimum of grade 4 (or equivalent qualification).

And

• An honours degree in any subject at 2:1 or higher.
