We are recruiting an Continuous Improvement Facilitator

We are recruiting a Continuous Improvement Facilitator within the Blow Moulding Department at Muller Severnside.

The purpose of this role is to create and embed a culture and way of working that enables our people to deliver targets whilst continuously improving the performance and delivering site performance through alignment of resources (people, plant & process) to deliver on KPI's and Objectives. Lead sites Operational and Maintenance excellence programs and coaching site team to deliver roadmap targets.

Location - Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. GL10 2DG

Contract - Full time / Permanent

Working Hours - Monday - Friday (40 hours per week.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Blow Moulding site Manufacturing strategy in line with delivering Muller Excellence, including areas of H&S, Quality, Environment, Policies and Procedures (accredited Business standards)
  • Ensure routines, rituals, tasks and objectives are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Deliver development plans for own team aligned with business objectives.
  • Champion the implementation of a Continuous Improvement culture and strategy.
  • Lead a high performing team through PMS principles and Muller Excellence Program.
  • Coach, mentor through succession pathways, up and through Blow Moulding.
  • Ensure manufacturing operates within full compliance of all business standards.
  • Collaboratively working with others to improve overall business performance.
  • Ensure support from Central Muller Excellence for Engineering Excellence and Asset care.
  • Drives Muller excellence strategy in everything we do through PMS
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement:
  • Data driven advanced trouble shooting capability deployed when required.
  • Can demonstrated advanced problem solving capability in high pressured environment.
  • Uses coaching and facilitating skills to influence positive change with the site.
  • Utilises Six Sigma Green Belt methodology to understand and improve processes.
  • Is a subject matter expert and demonstrates effective deployment of many operational excellence based tools and philosophies to include SMED, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Standard Work Deployment & RCA.
  • Demonstrate excellent role modelling, coaching & supporting of end to end performance management system
  • Responsible for targets setting / strategic deployment of OGSM across all site functions.
  • Effectively uses network benchmark information to drive improvement.
  • Drives and support the delivery of continuous improvement opportunities based of 8 wastes.
