Job description
Our client, an oil and gas operator, requires a HR Operations Team Leader to join the team on a contract basis. Purpose of the role: Supervise and coordinate HR services and HR Operations team in the mobilisation and management of international employees in accordance with Companywide resource planning. Act as a key focal point for Senior Management and HR Managers within the subsidiaries. Interface with the professional area relevant to day-to-day supervision and line management of team members, including performance reviews, regular team meetings, and annual leave approvals. Key responsibilities: Provide support and guidance to team members with regards to all operational queries Escalation of complex operational queries or issues to Regional Head of HR Operations Participate in all Consultation meetings conducted as part of the Termination Process Analyse HR Systems with respect to data integrity, status reporting, personnel management Analyse and manage team member workload within SLA parameters, procedures and policies Active participation and lead in strategic projects across multiple disciplines Full responsibility for the accuracy of payroll files and expenses management in coordination with the Payroll Team Review procedures and suggest proposals for cost control and enhancing the 'assignee experience . Manage VIP Senior Managers cases Adhere to and report KPI results across service delivery and proposed and implement continuous improvement Ensure team member s employee files and trackers are up to date and conduct periodical reviews Ensure our record keeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR requirements Oversee onboarding/induction process of new team members a specific region. Team management of assigned geographical area. Skills and competencies Proven HR experience working in a fast-paced, professional, global business environment. Evidence of excellent relationship and stakeholders management skills gained in a previous senior HR role, including the ability to quickly establish relationships and influence people at all levels of an organisation Hands on knowledge of UK and International Employment Law Experience in the implementation of HR strategies and policies and lead organisational change Proven leadership skills in managing and supervising a team Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and/or as part of a team Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills Strong people skills, to build excellent team relationships within the team and inter-departmentally Collaborative styles with excellent and verbal communication skills Fluent in English, other languages would be beneficial Qualifications: Relevant University degree (HR or similar) and/or extensive HR/Global Mobility experience CIPD Level 5 or above would be advantageous With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
