Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, Immediate Start) - Mainstream Secondary School, Lewisham

Are you passionate about making a difference in students' lives and supporting their learning journey? We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive Secondary School in Lewisham. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately, with a competitive salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to individual students or small groups, helping them achieve their academic goals.
• Assist the classroom teacher in preparing resources and delivering engaging lessons.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities where required.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging student participation and confidence.
• Help with classroom management and behaviour, ensuring a safe and productive setting.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure the holistic development of students.

Requirements:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• Experience working in a mainstream secondary school environment is preferred.
• DBS check (on the Update Service) is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to supporting young people.
• A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic attitude towards education.
