Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Director to take the lead in growing client engagements and managing high-value Financial Services (Capital Markets) accounts. This role involves overseeing all account management activities, driving revenue growth, and maintaining indirect responsibility for shared service work. The Account Director will be a key leader in managing relationships, ensuring exceptional client service, and leading teams to meet project objectives. This position requires strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to guide both client and internal teams through complex challenges.

The Account Director will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic client relationships, ensuring the successful execution of deliverables, and providing thought leadership on business development and strategic planning initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' needs, industry trends, competitors, and market pressures to craft compelling solutions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients in the Financial Services sector, particularly in Capital Markets, to drive business growth and promote service offerings.
  • Lead the pursuit of new business opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to broader business development efforts.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen by ensuring that revenue and profitability targets are met for assigned accounts.
  • Proactively manage account operations, including staffing and resource management, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), understand client challenges, ensure high client satisfaction (CSAT), and collaborate with delivery teams to maintain smooth client relationships.
  • Travel to client sites as needed, sometimes on short notice, to ensure continued client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Oversee the execution of client work, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed client expectations, align with the company's creative philosophy, and maintain the highest standards of quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Experience in client services and account management, with a focus on consultative selling and relationship-building.
  • Strong business acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage clients and deliver presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a track record of meeting high expectations and delivering quality results.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
