Job description

Job Title: Account Manager

Reports to: Sales Manager

Location: London - 2 days per week in the office

Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum (Double OTE)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

As an Account Manager, you will be essential to maintaining client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the seamless delivery of solutions tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and close business within an existing client portfolio.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships through proactive account management.
  • Forecast sales and track account performance using CRM tools.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all client account matters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of solutions.
  • Provide regular reports on account status and progress.
  • Address client inquiries and manage expectations effectively.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar Account Manager or client-facing role, preferably in the IT or cloud services industry

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • A solid understanding of industry trends and client needs influencing purchasing decisions.
  • Results-driven with the ability to independently lead initiatives and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of closing deals and maximising profitability.

Additional Requirements:

  • Occasional travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies is a plus.
  • Sales or account management certifications (e.g., CSM, CSAM) are advantageous.
