Opportunity

We are seeking an Architectural Assistant - Part 2 to join a multi-award-winning property and construction consultancy. This role offers involvement in a diverse range of projects across various building types and sectors, including world-class technical facilities, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings, educational institutions, offices, and private one-off commissions.

Due to growing demand for their expertise, they are now looking for a talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join the experienced Architectural team based in central London.



Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in formulating project briefs and communicating these effectively to colleagues
  • Carry out design studies and proposals for review
  • Collaborate with other design team members
  • Ensure design proposals comply with the latest building regulations and technical standards
  • Apply a practical and methodical approach to problem-solving, working within fixed budgets and deadlines
  • Assist with planning applications and Building Regulations
  • Inspect building work on-site


Experience and Skills Required:

  • Part 2 qualified Architectural Assistant with a minimum of a 2.1 degree
  • Part 1 qualified Architectural Assistant
  • Exceptional visualisation skills


Software Proficiency:

  • AutoCAD & Revit
  • SketchUp
  • Rhino (including DIVA and Grasshopper for Rhino)
  • Enscape
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, capable of articulating complex issues between clients and highly skilled project teams. They must demonstrate ambition, a willingness to learn, and strong diligence and organisational skills.
