Job Title: Asset Surveyor (M&E / Commercial Buildings)
Location: EC4A (Central London)
Employment Type: 3-Month Fixed Term Contract
Start date: ASAP
Pay Rate: 420 per day (CIS)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asset Surveyor for a 3-month contract to oversee assets ranging from catering equipment to Plant equipment. Based out of our East Central London office, the Asset Surveyor will conduct on-site surveys to catalogue and verify assets across multiple locations. This role is essential for ensuring our asset database is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with internal policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Asset Identification and Data Collection:
Conduct on-site visits across various locations to identify, tag, and verify company assets, including catering equipment and plant equipment.
Accurately document asset details such as make, model, serial number, location, and condition in the asset management system.
Apply appropriate tagging systems (e.g., barcodes or RFID) to all assets, ensuring consistent and traceable records.

Asset Data Management:
Update and maintain the asset management database with new and verified asset information.
Cross-reference existing records with physical assets to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Report discrepancies or missing assets and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.

Compliance and Auditing:
Ensure all asset collection and tagging activities comply with company policies and any relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
Assist in asset audits, supporting both internal and external audit teams by providing detailed, up-to-date information.

Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate with various teams, including finance, facilities, and operations, to gather necessary data and improve asset management processes.
Prepare and submit detailed reports on the status and condition of assets, including any issues or recommendations for improvement.

Education: Diploma or degree in Surveying, Asset Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.

Experience:
Previous experience in asset surveying, asset management, or inventory collection preferred.
Experience with asset management software and data entry systems (e.g., SAP, CMMS, or similar tools).

Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficient in using handheld scanners, mobile devices, and asset tagging equipment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
