Description

• Creating purchase orders in the system
• Processing purchase invoices and converting purchase orders in the system
• Setting up payment runs for due purchase invoices and expenses by liaising with wider teams
• Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries via phone and email
• Assisting the wider team to set up new suppliers
• Data entry and reconciliation of employee credit card expenses on the system
• Cash reconciliation
• Assisting the financial controller as required on adhoc tasks and office administration support

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• 1 year minimum Accounts Payable experience
• A degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
• Experience with Sage Intact
• Previous Accounts Payable experience
• Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
