Join a small specialist design safety and compliance business as the second hire into their Building Safety team. This is a role centred around technical delivery, working closely in accordance with the Building Safety Act, Building Regulations, Building Act, Approved Documents and RICS professional Standards. The focus is the technical side but will provide an opportunity to develop commercial and management skills as the team grows supporting the internal Director as they develop the service line. This role would be ideal for a building specialist from a Building Control or Building Inspector background. In this role as you will lead the Building Regulations assessment and provide expert consultation services in order to sign off from the Building Safety Regulator. A major focus of this project work will be tall buildings and high-rise residential works. This is the second hire in a newly developed team, delivering a specialist Building Regs focussed role within a well-established business. The company has an excellent working culture and a team of genuinely great staff.
