Job description

We have a new live vacancy with a fast-growing building surveying business based in the heart of London. Founded by three seasoned entrepreneurs with a deep background in building surveying and global scaling, they're at the forefront of revolutionising the surveying industry.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a talented building surveyor at
APC level (minimum AssocRICS) to join the team on a permanent basis paying c.45,000 per annum.

Who We're Looking For:
Essential:

  • Qualification: APC level, AssocRICS
  • Knowledge: Building regulations and planning, RICS guidelines, diagnosing building defects
  • Experience: Previous experience in building surveying is a must.

You will have experience in completing RICS home surveys (Level 1, 2 and 3)

  • Skills: Strong surveying skills, with a focus on excellence and delivering results, excellent verbal communication, ability to produce accurate written reports, good IT skills
  • Passion for Growth: Enthusiastic individuals who are eager to grow within a rapidly expanding business.
  • Driving: Must have full UK driving licence and access to own car with business insurance

Desirable

  • Project Management: Ability to manage construction projects on time and budget
  • CDM 2015: Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015
  • Contract Management: To be able to act as CA for a project and prepare a JCT contract
  • Procurement: Ability to offer client support in procuring compliant contracts and issue tender documents
  • Design: Ability to undertake basic design work i.e. extensions, loft conversions etc.
  • Specifications: To be able to produce specifications to detail work for a construction project
  • CAD: Be able to produce detailed CAD drawings
