London, Birmingham or Manchester Full time

Working hours: Monday Friday 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a Buyer to join the wider Care and Custody team to support in category strategy development, execution, and sourcing activity, ensuring supply chain solutions are fit for purpose, aligned to business needs, and represent lowest total cost, optimal service, and highest quality with relevant impactful supply base innovation.
You should be capable of working on complex high level sourcing activities and negotiations, identifying new and more competitive sources of supply, liaising with suppliers to resolve issues, manage and support a wide range of internal stakeholders as well as support on the development and delivery of annual targets and goals across cost and quality. You will also work on the roll out and maintenance of a new Supplier Management Program covering all strategic and preferred suppliers, reviewing current processes and procedures and identify areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of procurement experience, showing evidence of considerable self-development, have excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills and able to be accountable and dedicated to their work and the wider business goals. You will have a clear track record of stakeholder management with a focus on strategy implementation and have an ability to work creatively in a fast-paced environment. A CIPS qualification or equivalent is not essentially but desirable.
