Clinical Specialist MRI Radiographer

We are working with a Private Hospital in the heart of London, that are currently looking for an Radiographer to join their well-renowned imaging team.

This is a Full-time role with the following shift patterns:

• 37.5 hours/per week - 5 day working pattern (Mon - Fri), with the opportunity to work 3 long days - on-call requirements

As a Clinical Specialist MRI Radiographer, your duties will be to:

• Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients.
• Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways.
• Adjust and utilise the appropriate sequences tailored to the specific scan requirements, collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.
• identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager.
• Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner.
• Assist with staff orientation and training of new team members, audits and QA.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance records.

What they need from you:

• HCPC registered.
• Degree within Radiography.
• Extensive experience working within MRI, either as a Band 6 or Band 7 equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of processes and procedures within MRI scanning.
• In-depth knowledge of MRI safety on patients with implants.
• Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners.
