Commercial Analyst / FP&A Analyst London £40,000 - £50,000 + benefits

The Opportunity

Are you a commercially aware Finance Analyst / Business Analyst / Assistant Management Accountant looking for a step into the FP&A team within a modern, growing and agile plc?

The remit focuses around the data & reporting linked to sales, margin, customer activity, pricing, rebates and promotions.

You'l be looking at trends within the MI and using your findings to educate decision makers across the group. You'll be working with talented colleagues within the commercial team, sales, marketing, operational areas and finance.

You need to be someone with excellent analytical skills (experience of Excel is required).

You'll be someone who has a real interest in business and has common sense and commercial acumen. Someone who can bring numbers to life and work with colleagues to help translate the raw data / reports into real world decisions and action plans.

It would suit someone ambitious, proactive and keen to learn. A relevant degree (accounting / analytical focus) would be useful.

Required:

  • Previous experience of an analytical role (perhaps within retail / distribution / manufacturing) where sales and stock pipelines are a key consideration.
  • Natural enthusiasm and keenness to learn and develop.
  • Ability to work with others - great communication skills / relationship development skills.
  • Professional, bright, keen to progress.
