Compensation Manager

London (Hybrid)

Permanent

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Compensation Manager on a permanent basis.

The Compensation Manager will develop and oversee the compensation programs, ensuring they align with the clients UK&I strategic objectives and comply with legal requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies.
  • Design, evaluate, and modify compensation programs, as well as develop and implement new bonus or incentive plans.
  • Manage the annual salary review process.
  • Conduct salary surveys and analyse compensation data to identify trends.
  • Act as a business partner/consultant to the P&C (People & Culture) community on Total Rewards related matters.
  • Ensure appropriate training and communication materials are developed.
  • Collaborate with People & Culture team to integrate compensation programs with performance management and employee development initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs in motivating and retaining employees.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the compensation budget.
  • Lead and participate in compensation-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Solid 5-7 years of hands-on industry specific hands-on experience.
  • Experience in administering and managing compensation programs, including job evaluation, market pricing, salary structure design, and pay-for-performance models.
  • Ability to support the Head of People Services by providing accurate compensation data, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret compensation data.
  • A proactive and resourceful approach to resolving day-to-day compensation issues.
  • communication skills, with the ability to present compensation information clearly and effectively to managers and employees.
  • Familiarity with compensation laws and regulations across UK&I ensuring compliance with local legal requirements.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
