Job description

We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and experienced Luxury East Africa Travel Planner to join our clients remote team selling Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. This role involves crafting and selling holiday packages, providing travel advice, and ensuring a seamless booking experience for clients.

If you have travelled and sold Kenya Tanzania from a well established UK based tour operator background we want to hear from you.

East Africa Travel Planner - Duties:

  • Engage with potential clients via email, phone, and video calls to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
  • Sell and design personalised travel itineraries in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, including safaris, cultural tours, beach holidays, and adventure activities.
  • Sell and present customised itineraries across East Africa, accommodation options, and experiences tailored to each client s interests and budget.
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings by guiding clients through the sales process and addressing questions an
  • Coordinate bookings for accommodations, transportation, activities, and local guides, ensuring seamless experiences from arrival to departure.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of destination offerings, from luxury safari lodges to off-the-beaten-path experiences.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, with follow-up communication post-travel for feedback and relationship-building.

East Africa Travel Planner Essential Requirements:

  • TAILORMADE Africa sales experience within an established tour operator with strong knowledge of Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
  • Proven track record in sales with strong communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of East Africa s attractions, culture, visa regulations, and popular travel routes.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bookings, timelines, and itineraries.
