Job description

A private family is seeking a proactive, hands-on, and organised individual to fulfil the combined roles of Office Manager for their private family office and Estate Manager for their residence. This role involves supervising the day-to-day operations of both the office and the residence, ensuring smooth functioning of the buildings and facilities.

Please note - must live within a 30 minute commute of NW1 and have experience within HNW homes.

Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays, 9am - 7pm weekdays and 9am - 4pm on the Saturdays


Responsibilities and Duties:
• Manage office and residential supplies, including ordering and stocking inventory
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of both the office and residential buildings and their facilities
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance work
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, health, and safety standards
• Manage facilities such as HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems
• Liaise with contractors and oversee project management of maintenance and renovation projects
• Monitor and maintain equipment, including IT infrastructure
• Address any facilities-related issues promptly and effectively
• Perform hands-on tasks as needed, such as minor repairs and troubleshooting
• Setting up meetings in the office
• Manage the tech room and storage area, ensuring they are organised, and all equipment is maintained properly


Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Practical experience in building maintenance, with a working knowledge of plumbing, construction, or electrics preferred
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail
• Flexible, positive, and proactive attitude
• Excellent time-management skills
• Effective planning, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office software
