Job Title: Exit Manager
Day rate: 650
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: National (London) - Hybrid

Our client, a Central Government organisation, is looking for a talented Exit Manager to join their warm and collaborative Strategic Initiatives team. As an Exit Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the orderly and efficient ending of service provision and transition to in-house teams or replacement suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Commercial, Contract, Service, and Delivery Managers to ensure a smooth transition of services on the expiry of the Service Agreement.
• Develop and finalise the Exit Plan with incumbent suppliers, including agreement on the provision of Termination Services.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams, replacement suppliers, and incumbent suppliers.
• Define and agree on the incumbent's exit-related accountabilities and responsibilities, ensuring transparency of ownership.
• Manage the progress of the incumbent against the Exit Plan, Termination Services, and external dependencies.
• Provide expertise and input to Exit Governance Boards and assess the impact of any changing exit-related requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and manage complex supplier relationships.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in developing exit plans and managing supplier relationships during the exit phase.
• Strong commercial and supplier management skills, with the ability to foster collaborative working.
• Experience in leading large-scale migrations and technology rollouts.
• Previous experience in delivering large-scale public-sector IT programmes.
• PRINCE2 or MSP and MCIPS certifications are preferred.
• Willingness to undergo SC level clearance assessment.
