Freelance Position
£215 - £230 per day
Based in South East London

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Finishing Site Manager with fit-out experience to oversee the final stages of a residential development phase in South East London for a tier one developer. This role will focus on ensuring a smooth handover of the project while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The position is available for an immediate start and is expected to last approximately 12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management: Monitor daily operations and trade activities to achieve a zero snagging list and prepare properties for CML certification. Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications, focusing on delivering high-quality finishes.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with site teams and subcontractors to facilitate timely progress and resolve any issues that arise.
• Customer Liaison: Interact with new homeowners to ensure their expectations are met and provide excellent customer service.
• Resource Management: Oversee material levels and coordinate labour to align with project timelines.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Fit-Out Experience: Proven track record in managing the finishing stages of residential construction projects with a strong focus on fit-out work.
• Tier-One Developer Experience: Previous experience working for tier-one developers is highly desirable.
• Strong Communicator: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and
• Stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with the housebuilding process, particularly at the finishing and snagging stage.
• Trade Background: Previous experience in trades or construction management, with hands-on knowledge from live projects.

CSCS Card
First Aid at Work Certificate
