BRIGHTERBOX

London City, Greater London, United Kingdom
Job type: fulltime
Job industry: HR / Recruitment
Job description
BrighterBox is a different kind of careers service, connecting ambitious grads with unique opportunities at companies they care about in London.
Clients include fast-growing fintechs, foodie brands, digital advertising companies, small but mighty marketing agencies and a huge range of entrepreneurial startups. (No grad schemes, banks or law firms here.)
Applicants should have an interest in business generally, but what we're really looking out for is for people who want to come in and make an impact. If you want to come in and become the number one grad recruiter for crypto, customer service or confectionary, we'll help you carve that niche!
Prepare yourself to join a small team with an all-hands-on-deck mentality where you'll be supporting a variety of business areas including:-
1. Candidate sourcing
Candidates are sourced both actively (CV databases, Linkedin Recruiter) and passively (CVs sent to us via job boards, social media, referrals, website) so you'll have to be very happy talking to people, be interested in business (as we work across a variety of sectors) and have excellent ability to creatively and methodically search through various systems to find the right profiles to match to roles we're recruiting for. If you considered applying for the MI5 grad scheme and have an uncanny knack for finding people online then these detective skils will come in super handy.
2. Client relationship management
The role will encompass more and more account management type functions once you learn and understand more about our clients and key sectors. Compiling relevant shortlists of candidates, arranging interviews, making placements all require a degree of persuasion and negotiation (and automation - we'd love it if you were interested in AI!) - we are not simply administrators but we are by no means pushy recruiters. There is a fine line here and we use our natural charm, empathy and emotional intelligence to support both job seekers and hiring managers through the process.
3. Mould the role to fit your skill set
All roles at BrighterBox have an 80% recruitment, 20% "special projects" ratio - whereby you could get involved in anything from a fast-track to leadership, working on our quarterly Intelligent Insights report, setting up a podcast, to developing our bespoke CRM software and digging into our data. Wherever your skills and passions lie, there's a place for them here at BrighterBox.
What we care about
You, obviously
We care about our employees' happiness and want them to share in our successes. BrighterBox believe in flexible working, taking holidays, supporting your wellbeing, regular team lunches and socials, with ideas welcomed on even more perks. The team currently work 3 days in a co-working space with a gym (and sauna!) and 2 days flexibly where you can work from home or in the office if you need/want to.
Diversity & inclusion
The whole team are dedicated and determined to support businesses in diversifying their interview shortlists and we are continually reviewing our policies to ensure that candidates from diverse backgrounds are appropriately represented.
Fitness & fun
We have plenty of socials, weekly fitness challenges, a focus on personal/professional development and an insistence on a work/life/tequila balance.
Rewards
We would expect you to be earning upwards of £30,000 in your first year and £40,000 to £50,000 in your second year. (And have fun doing it!)
