Salary from £61,870 to £71,292 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £78,762 pa inclusive of London allowance

The role

In this strategic leadership position, you'll draw on the findings of a recent Admissions Review to lead the team through an exciting period of development. You'll lead on the enhancement of admissions systems and processes to achieve an efficient, high-quality applicant experience whilst rigorously maintaining standards and adhering to regulatory requirements. You'll work with key stakeholders to support the delivery of our student recruitment objectives, selecting academically strong and suitable cohorts who go on to excel in their studies.

The team and wider context

Our Access and Participation Plan and our student recruitment strategy set out to increase LSE's commitment to attracting a global and diverse range of outstanding students. Within this, the Admissions team has primary responsibility for:

  • Admissions selection and processing of undergraduate and postgraduate applications to the School.
  • Admissions policies, relevant regulatory requirements and quality control.

What we're looking for

We are looking for someone with the ability to provide clear directions for the team and support them to deliver on strategic objectives.

Candidates must have:

  • Experience of leading an admissions team to deliver efficient, high-quality applicant experience.
  • Experience of writing admissions policies and managing relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of using and developing student record systems to enhance business processes.
