Hybrid- Central London/Home (2-3 days in office)

What you'll be doing:

You will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and financial control for the Westminster

Disposal contract, and assisting with the Westminster Municipal Contract and Commercial

business, as part of the Central London region of Veolia Environmental Services UK Plc.

The successful candidate will also Work closely with Operations, as a business partner to the Senior Contract Managers and a key member of the Finance team.

  • Production and analysis of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of forecasts and budgets in conjunction with the Senior Contract Manager and General Manager
  • Manage audit queries in liaison with Group Auditors
  • Control and reporting of capital expenditure
  • Financial analysis of operational data and KPI
  • Post investment financial review and analysis of long term financial performance
  • Working with clients on contract performance and adapting systems to any changes in service
  • Ensure all contracts and depots within the remit are complying with Group financial policies and procedures
  • Work closely with the Business Waste Manager on all financial aspects of the commercial business
  • Responsible for Business Partnering and producing quality budgets/forecasts



What we're looking for:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA - Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants / ACCA - Association of Chartered Certified Accountants / CIMA - Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills - knowledge of Google Sheets ideal as well as Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
